 With the new State Issue assignment, I have been trying to do a couple things with it and I have not gone back yet to fix up my National Issue research paper. I do know that there are parts I need to fix and add to. I think this will allow me to re-read my paper with fresher eyes soon, this will allow me to see how well the paper actually flows. I will continue to get a few of my peers to read over it as well and once that is completed I will look through my annotated bibliography. As long as everything is in the correct format, meets the word count requirement, and my annotated bibliography is completed then I will be ready to turn it in early next week. This will allow me to put all my focus into the State Issue assignment.

 I believe the strongest part of my paper is maybe the refutatio because these are common come backs to the topic, but by looking at the statistics and knowing how much pharmaceutical companies actually make each and every year you can see that this won't hinder research. However, I still believe my paper could always be better and I will keep trying to edit as I go. I think the weakest part of my paper might be the exordium because I am not sure if I need to add more to it to be more specific and really appeal to pathos.

 So after switching my topic, I had to essentially start over. I am back in the source filtering stage, I currently have a few annotated but not all of them. I have my exordium done, but it definitely needs work. I am going through and re reading my sources that I decided to keep so far, annotating some as I go. This is also allowing me to form all my ideas and get a better idea of where I want everything to go and generally how it will be organized in each paragraph/section.
